Protein Energy Balls

  • Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon raw cashews
    • 2 ½ tablespoons raw almonds
    • 3 small pitted Medjool dates
    • 1 scoop CocoaVia Cardio Health supplement*
    • 1 scoop protein powder (Wellious Almond Protein Powder) (optional)
    • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut, or cashew)
  • Instructions

    • Transfer the cashews and almonds to a food processor. Pulse until a crumbly texture forms. Do not over-pulse.
    • Add the Medjool dates and pulse until a paste forms. Add CocoaVia and protein powder (if using). Continue blending or pulsing, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture is mostly incorporated. Add the almond butter and blend until combined.
    • Scrape the energy ball batter into a large bowl. Form the mixture into two balls using your hands and squeezing the batter. (Add room temperature water 1 teaspoon at a time as needed so the mixture sticks when forming.)
    • Place the balls in a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours.
